Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans has only had only one dream in her life: she wants to compose and sing in the country genre. "God placed me on this planet to be singing," said Evans, in a quote by John Meroney of American Enterprise. That's what I love and what I will do. Furthermore, Evans wanted to succeed in bringing back the classic songs of the country genre, which were re-created by famous stars like Patsy Cline, Hank Snow, Tammy Wynette, George Jones as well as Patty Loveless, musicians Evans thought of as her most influential sources of inspiration. In the latter part of 1990, in a time where most promising country singers turned to modern songs that were radio-friendly, Evans made her initial mark in the country genre with songs that drew inspiration from the past which was evident in her 1997 debut, True Lies. True Lies, though it received positive reviews and received nominations from the Academy of Country Music for the top female vocalist of 1998, failed to make an significant impact. Evans was enticed to change the repertoire for No Place That Far in 1999 by producers. It gave her the public acknowledgement she'd always desired for so long. Sara Evans was born February 5th, 1971 at Columbia, Missouri. Sara Evans spent the early stages of her life alongside her brothers and sisters.
